Cooking Class 'Nonna's Sunday Feast', Coexist Community Kitchen, 23-02-25
17h30 - 20h00, Coexist Community Kitchen, Mivart Street Studios , Unit 10, Epstein Building, Bristol BS5 6JF
This class is a journey through the soul-warming flavours of Southern Italy and a heartfelt tribute to my great-grandmother and those Sundays spent together hand-rolling fresh pasta.
During the class, you will learn how to make:
Southern Italian hand-shaped pasta
Homemade vegan pesto or another sauce
An indulgent dessert to top it all off!
Level: The class is suitable for beginners and experienced cooks looking to expand their knowledge and repertoire.
Contents covered: Fresh pasta making, plant-based desserts and baking, plating and serving suggestions.
Allergies: Due to the nature of the recipes, this class is not suitable for anyone intolerant or allergic to gluten, nuts and soy.
Class duration: 2.5 hours, including eating time.
Extras: you will be given a recipe booklet each to take home. The booklet will include the recipes covered during the class and extra tips to adapt the recipes.
Note: this class is adult-only. Due to limited space, equipment and the convivial nature of the class, single and odd-number bookings will very likely be combined to work in pairs.
